This alloy is a nickel-iron-chromium nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy containing small amounts of the metal elements molybdenum and copper. In reducing and oxidizing acids, it has good corrosion resistance, as well as good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion. It has excellent corrosion resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. This alloy has good hot and cold working properties and is easy to cold form and weld.
